Youth Conference Adonai Nissi - "KAIROS - Defining Moment"

We all live at our own time pace.. Our time is measured in years, months, days, hours and seconds. It is also measured in achievements, victories and career success. We are busy and focused on our own lives, we are used to going to church on Sundays, reading God's word and praying has become a tradition.

How do we keep a pure heart before God in a world that demands everything? Am I worthy to be part of God's plan?

Exodus 3:4
When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”

The story of Moses is an example of how we can be busy and pursue our own goals, but there comes a moment when God appears in the form of a “burning bush” and invites us to an encounter (Greek for "kairos"), where He speaks life- and destiny-changing words.

The great prophet Moses of the Pentateuch was a man like the rest of us. His life was full of trials and suffering. Like Moses, when we experience pain, anxiety or fear, we pause and doubt. But because of Christ's sacrifice, we have become new people. Moses, wanting to do what he thought was right, became a simple shepherd, tending sheep. But when the time was right, "Kairos" happened, and the meaning of his life changed. Your destiny is not what you paint in your imagination. Your destiny is in the hands of your God. God wants to speak into your life. He himself lights up the " unburning bush" and calls you. Will you say 'Yes' to Him?

Knowing who we are in Christ and saying 'Yes' at the "burning bush" brings fullness into our lives and a rich harvest for the kingdom of God.

We invite you to the annual "Adonai Nissi" youth conference on 27-28th October. This year's theme is 'Kairos', which translates from the Greek as 'The Defining Moment, the Encounter with God'.
